Spaces Cost Setup: Location Costs Tab

This article will cover the Location Costs section/tab in the Spaces Cost Setup page.

The Locations Costs list is searchable by Cost Name, Location Name, or Space Name.

The Locations Costs tab displays the information related to costs that have been configured for the spaces/rooms on your system that are designated as reservable and mediated.  You will need at least one cost on your system before you can associate them with a room and/or equipment.

The Location Costs list is searchable.  It will search based on Cost Name, the Type Code, Amount, Minimum Hour and Maximum Hour.

To add a new room/space cost configuration, select the "Add Location Cost" button.

You can edit, delete, and/or view the details of the costs on your system. 

* Please Note:  If a  location cost is marked as deleted it is not used for future reservations.  You cannot undo the deletion.

 

 

Add Location Cost:

To create a new room/space cost configuration select the Add Location Cost button.

Cost Name: Select the cost name from the drop down list.  If the cost is not in the list, the "Add a Cost" link will direct you to the Add New Cost workflow.

Location Name: Select the desired location from the drop down list.  If the location has not been created you can select the "Add a Location" link and it will direct you to the Add New Location workflow.

Space Name: Select the desired room/space from the drop down list.   If the room/space has not been created you can select the "Add a Space" link and it will direct you to the Add New Space workflow.

Organization Type: This will determine the type of organization the fee will apply to for reservations.  If you select "No specific organization type" this will apply the fee to reservations that are created with the "No Organization" option.

 

Edit Location Cost:

A room/space cost configuration can be modified by selecting the Edit button.  The Cost Name, Location Name, Space Name, and Organization Type selections can be changed.  The audit log also displays the record of any changes on the room/space cost configuration's details view.
