What is a Featured Event?

Q: What is a Featured Event? How do I take advantage of this designation?

A: Marking an Event as 'featured' enables you to create custom calendars that highlight the biggest and most important events your library wishes to promote.

It allows you to group a variety of otherwise unrelated events together for public relations purposes. Your library staff will decide which events they wish to feature.

The Events System allows you to create custom RSS feeds and calendars.

Simply add the switch: fe=1 to your custom feed to show only featured events.

Read the linked article for a more complete explanation of how to do create your customized feed.
