FAQ: Wandoo Reader and Themed Banners

In Wandoo Reader, you can apply any banner you like to a program. Each program you run can have its own banner.

The ideal banner image size in Wandoo Reader is 1200 x 200 pixels, but the system will correct.

The file size of the image you upload cannot be greater the 500kb.

To add or change a banner on a program you are setting up, click on Program Details tab.

To add or change a banner on an existing program, click on Program List, find the program, click Edit, then go to the Program Details tab.

Find the Theme Banner section, and click “Select Image” to open the dialog box. The first tab will allow you to upload your banner straight from your Computer.  Just click “Select Image” and choose the image you wish to upload. Choose Open to add it to the program. Indicate what “Alternate Text” should appear in the event a user does not have image capability on their browser. Then click “Save”.

To remove the image, use the "Remove" button.

You can also input a URL of an image already on the internet. Paste in the URL and indicate what “Alternate Text” should appear in the event a user does not have image capability on their browser. Then click “Save”.

Many libraries are part of CSLP or iRead programs. Evanced has URLs for these programs pre-prepared for you. Please email Evanced Support to request a list of banner URLs that you can apply to your program using the Select Image tool.  Please confirm your library is a current member of CSLP or iRead

Finally, if you want to use an image already in your system, you can click the Media Library tab. Choose an image and click Save.

Once you have exited the Select Image Modal, be sure to Save the changes to your program.
