Using Amazon SES Routing Services in Summer Reader

Summer Reader allows you to setup email functionality to increase your communication with patrons. To setup email, access Email Setup from the System Maintenance page.

This article shows your email setup page after enabling Amazon SES (Simple Email Service). We have the utilization of these routing services and offer them free of charge to our customers. The transition to Amazon’s routing services will make sure your emails are properly received by your patrons.

Transition to this service will require you to contact Evanced Support and ask them to enable the service.

Email System Enable |    Turn on Emailing in Summer Reader
Confirmation Email Enable |    Enables the system to send registration confirmations
Login Info Email Enable |    Allows patrons to receive email notifications of their username and password if forgotten
Sending Email Name |    Email address which is visible to user | Note, the domain address cannot be changed
From Name |    When the system sends an outbound email, this will be the name for the email address
From Email Address |    When a patron responds to an outbound email, this email address will receive the email
Enable Automatic CC in Emails   |    If you select yes, the ’from’ email address will automatically receive a copy of all sent emails
